I'm Cindy.  I live on the Jersey shore with my husband, the youngest of my two daughters, and my granddaughter, Lil Pnut. 

I have been sewing since I was eight years old, and gained a lot of confidence in my abilities after winning several first place blue ribbons at the Michigan State Fair as a member of the local 4-H Club.  After moving to California in my pre-teen years, I was fortunate to live next door to a master tailor, who taught me the old-fashioned method  of tailoring suits and coats.  I was in heaven!  It was in high school where I really started to break tradition, creating clothing designs that reflected my own unique style.  That was part of the 70s, and that creative freedom has stayed with me to this day.

While raising my two young daughters, I worked from home making custom bridal attire and thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful satins, chiffons, and intricate laces.  To this day, I am inspired by a piece of gorgeous lace, and before I know it, I have before me yet another unique garment.

I opened a highly successful vinyl lettering and graphic business in the late 1990's, which is still going strong.  While working with several local boutique owners with their store signs and window decals, and receiving their compliments on my own self-made wardrobe, they convinced me to offer my designs to them for sale in their shops.
